ICHA RIVER FISHING TOUR: 9 days/8 nights.

Accommodation: log cabins on a camp ground located along the river bank.

Transport to fishing spots by motorboat.

Tour price, per person in a group: $3260 (group size 6-12 people).


 

Ича (4)The Icha river flows through the Sobolev district of Kamchatka and falls into a shallow lagoon that stretches along the coast of Okhotskoe Sea, separated from it only by a narrow piece of low-lying foreland. River length is approximately 233km.

The Icha river is one of the most popular Kamchatka rivers when it comes to active leisure, and is one of the safer rivers for an unforgettable rafting experience. Whether you are a weathered fisherman, or a complete novice, the magnificent landscapes and excellent fishing spots are sure to leave a long lasting impression.

Rafting and fishing take place in the mid-stream of the Icha river, which has some of the more exciting natural obstacles and rapids.

 

 

Day 1. Arrival.

Transfer from the Elizovo Airport to a hotel in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. Resting after a long flight. Bathing/swimming in thermal pool. Dinner. Detailed trip discussion with the tour guide. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 2. Departing towards Icha river.

07:30 Breakfast.

08:00 Transfer to Milkovo – 300km (4-5 hours).

17:00 Lunch in one of Milkovo’s cafés.

18:00 Continuing from Milkovo towards Ichinskiy volcano. Visiting the natural mineral water spring on the way.15 minute rest.

The road runs through the territory of Bystrinskiy Reserve, with amazing landscapes and views of the Ichinskiy volcano 3600m.

After 160kms, we turn right, onto a forest road which takes us to the river.

Arriving at the river with motorboats awaiting. Rest, lightsnack, loading onto the boats. 15km along the river towards the base camp.

19:00 Arriving at base camp. Moving into the guesthouse, base camp orientation.

20:00 Dinner. Getting to know the guides. Safety instruction and equipment preparation. Overnight stay in the guesthouses.

Day 3. Icha River Fishing.

09:00 Breakfast.

10:00 Fishing off the boat. Each boat goes to its own fishing spot. Changing around later.

14:00 Hot lunch.

15:00 Fishing.

18:00 Return to base camp.

20:00 Dinner. Briefing. Russian sauna (optional). Overnight stay in the guesthouse.

Days 4-5-6-7.

09:00 Breakfast.

10:00 Fishing. Groups will be changing around, going to different spots. Visiting the “Jumping Salmon” falls on one of the days.

14:00 Hot lunch.

15:00 Fishing.

18:00 Return to base camp.

20:00 Dinner. Briefing. Russian sauna (optional). Overnight stay in guesthouses.

Day 8. Returning to Petropavlovsk Kamchatskiy.

09:00 Breakfast.

10:00 Boat transfer onto the bus.

11:00 Loading onto the bus.

11:30 Departing towards Milkovo (150km, approximately 3 hours).

14:30 Café lunch in Milkovo.

15:30 Transfer to a hotel in Petropavlovsk Kamchatskiy. (300km, approximately 5 hours).

20:30 Arriving at the hotel.

21:00 Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

9 day. Airport departure.

08:00 Breakfast.

09:00 Transfer to the Elizovo Airport. Departure.
