The Vachkazhets Mountain range is one of the most magnificent, most beautiful places of the untouched Kamchatka nature. In ancient times, Vachkazhets was a single volcano. However as a result of a powerful explosion, it disintegrated into three distinct parts: Mt. Letnyaya Poperechnaya (1417m), Mt. Vachkazhtsy (1500m) and Mt. Vachkazhets itself. The Mt. Letnyaya Poperechnaya area still features two large volcanic circuses which represent the remains of a single large volcanic crater. Our hike will commence at the beautiful Takhkoloch lake, taking you to the breathtaking waterfalls, giving you the chance to capture the beauty and magnificence of the untouched nature of Kamchatka.
Tour Timetable:
08:00 Departing the “Petropavlovsk” hotel towards the mountain on our off-road vehicle.
11:00 Arriving at the beautiful Takhkoloch lake. Hike preparations.
11:30 departing the Tahkolock lake base camp, hiking towards the waterfalls.
15:00 Returning to the base camp. Lunch (lunch-boxes).
17:00 Departing back towards Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy.
18:30 Arriving at the “Petropavlovsk” hotel.

The route or the route schedule can be changed according to the weather conditions, the training level of the group, other external factors. The decision to change the route may be taken by the guide on the place.
